Using very basic sharpening tools to sharpen a V-edge folding knife. It is a very basic & simple but fairly effective way of sharpening my V-edge knives. In this case, I'm sharpening my friend's Spyderco Endura in ZDP-189 steel. The sharpener is just a Fallkniven DC4 whetstone - Diamond Surface on 1 side, Ceramic on the other side. Surely not the best diamond sharpening system, but a portable one. There are other portable diamond sharpeners, but I have not tried them, so I'm stuck with this one, my first and only. Leather strop to finish off. I further repaired the pretty damaged edge at the end of the blade after this video, using the same whetstone. Knife is shaving sharp throughout the cutting edge after the sharpening.
