***READ ME*** This is a review of the V-SHARP freehand precision knife sharpener by Warthog that I have been testing for over 6 MONTHS, sharpening hundreds of knives razor sharp, and even hatchets, shovels, a sword, bayonets, and anything else that will take an edge, and the V-Sharp has yet to fail me. If you don't know how to sharpen knives, not good at sharpening them, or just want a quick means of putting a razor edge on knives without destorying theblade like so many other sharpeners do, than this is what you are looking for. I'm surprised at how easy it is to put a very sharp edge on a knife in just a few minutes, and the better the steel the better the edge. Whats unique about this sharpener is it sharpens both sides of the blade equally, and correctly, unlike so many of the others on the market that remove far too much metal from the blade. I like this sharpener so much that I have two of them! They work very well, the hold up great, and they are easy to use to put a razor edge on a quality knife.
