Unboxing of Wicked Edge 1200/1600 Grit Ultra Fine Ceramic Sharpening Stones

Unboxing of Wicked Edge 1200/1600 Grit Ultra Fine Ceramic Sharpening Stones Video Clips. Duration : 9.90 Mins.

1st of all: Thank you Wicked Edge for the 30% discount applied to this order as well as my past orders, I hope you can help others out too. Wicked Edge was also kind enough to send me a set of leather strops with 5 & 3.5 micron diamond paste to make up for the long wait for the stones. Finally after almost 5 months of being on the waiting list checking my email everyday for a tracking # they are here. I'm hoping I can skip over the 1000 & 1500 grit sandpaper. I like how the stones are perfectly flat & smooth compared to the diamonds. When put together & held up to the light, no gaps or light is seen between the ceramics, unlike the diamond stones. Another great thing about these is I can now tape the sandpaper to this instead of the 1000 grit diamond, I will surely get a better mirror polished edge with a perfect reflecting surface. Grinding Wood Chisels Free Hand • Complete Sharpening Series Video 4

Grinding Wood Chisels Free Hand • Complete Sharpening Series Video 4 Tube. Duration : 12.83 Mins.

AskWoodMan.com This is the fourthvideo in my complete sharpening series. In this series I will use the following tools and machines: Makita 9820 electric water stone with an after market sharpening jig, Bosch belt sander, Porter Cable belt sander, Mitutoyo combination square, General Sharpening Jig, DMT Diamond Stones, and various chisels, plane irons and scrapers. This fourth video begins with double checking our work from video #3. The majority of video 4 concentrates on grinding one chisel from start to finish on the Makita electric water stone. The goal is to get the bevel as close as possible to the original 25 degree angle. I had no choice but to free hand grind these chisel because the blade was too short to reach the stone when fit in the jig. This video is just one in the series where Allan Little shows all his sharpening techniques that he has refined in the last 25 plus years to attain the sharpest chisels, plane irons and scrapers. This series will show not only how to hone and sharpen using the diamond stones, but also how to grind on the Makita 9820 course wheel as well as belt sanders. This series ends with chisels, plane irons and scraper demonstrations. ______________________________________ Want to know which tools and products that AskWoodman uses? Unboxing Plaisir Fountain Pen - V2.0

Unboxing Plaisir Fountain Pen - V2.0 Video Clips. Duration : 35.48 Mins.

Relax as I unbox yet another inexpensive fountain pen. This pen is the Plaisir made by Platinum. This is not a formal review of the pen but rather just a guy opening up his new toy. This is a revised version of the original video which I removed due to the formation of a unexpected, unfortunate, "shape" made from the converging drops of honing oil on the whet stone used for sharpening the knife. Sorry to take away everyone's fun...lol.

The Axe is Back Project... Council Tool Axe Unboxing and Modifications.

The Axe is Back Project... Council Tool Axe Unboxing and Modifications. Tube. Duration : 9.30 Mins.

I've been watching the series of videos titled The Axe is Back Project recently, it started about a year ago, so this is my addition. An unboxing and Modification video. I ordered a new axe off of ebay. The Council Tool Hudson Bay Axe is around . The head is 1.75 lbs and the handle is 26 inches. I sanded the laquer off the handle and treated it with the boiled linseed oil. Also removed the enamel off the axe head. Hand sanded the axe head to a finer finish than the rough forging. And then sharpened the edge. Some chopping videos to come soon.
