Here are some things I've been trying out through trial & error. This is the best sharpener on the market in my opinion & like so many of the best things out there, there are some things that have room for improvement. I would like to see some improved tolerances of the u joints & the rod inside the stones, there is a lot of play that needs to be reduced. Just remember to dri-lube your u joints & get the metal shavings off of your diamond stones when your done & this system should be the last thing you buy to sharpen a knife.
